With this nice temperatures I went to visit Toronto, because besides the airport I still hadn't seen a thing in the city. It's the biggest city of Canada and with 3 million people the most populated one as well. For me, as a European, the skyline of the city is an attraction on it's own. Modern, high and shiny buildings and all competing to each other to be the talest. The city is located on the shores of Ontario Lake, with small islands and beaches for the summer. They have the talest observation tower of the world, 553m, and you get an amazing view all over Toronto and further. On a clear day, like we had, you can even see the boarder of the US across the lake.
From what I've heard you can ice skate all over the place during the winter and for the people that find it to cold, they can walk underneath the city and shop there for a while.
John and me just cruised around a bit, explored chinatown, walked on Yong street, one of the longest streets in North America, and bumped into a beerpub where they served Belgian beer :-)
They had a Belgium beer and mussels festival going on, so I couldn't just walk by. They served my home town (Antwerp) brewed beer, De Koninck, and all other kinds of Belgian and German beer. The prices and the taste weren't totally the same but we had good fun.
