Niagara Falls

My firt tourist visit. The Niagara Falls is about 120km from Toronto and right at the border with the US. Luckely for me, the Canadian site of the Falls are much more nicer then from when you see them form the american site, he he :-)
It's an impressive water fall and every second there runs 154 million litres of water down the fall. The boottrips that take you closer to the falls were closed, because there was still an enormous amound of ice, but we did the walk behind the falls. Frankly, for me that's already close enough. The sound of the water is amazing and just goes through your whole body.

We did a walk through the city as well, but besides Hotels, casinos and some very Americanised shops and attractions, there was't much to see.

To end my first touristic day, I had a taste of the canadian beer. Wasn't that bad, at least bether then the australian beer, but nothing close to our good Belgian beer :-)
it will be missed!! but nature, the people and other sightseeing things are compensating my loss
